This project simulates how hotel chains can offer smarter, AI-powered booking experiences using Amazon Bedrock Agents.
Built with Claude, Knowledge Bases, and Lambda-based Action Groups, this assistant can:
- Respond to queries about different types of rooms
- Check room availability for specific dates
- Book the selected room for the user
This mirrors how real-world hospitality companies are integrating conversational AI to reduce support load and improve bookings, with backend automation and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

This Bedrock Agent uses a combination of LLM reasoning, RAG, and real-time actions:
- Purpose: Handles general inquiries about hotel room types
- Data Source: Hotel details stored as PDF in Amazon S3
- Technology: Uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model
- Purpose: Checks room availability
- Data Source: Room Inventory Table in DynamoDB
- Functionality: Verifies availability of specific room types for requested dates
- Purpose: Processes booking requests
- Data Source: Booking Table in DynamoDB
- Functionality: Creates and manages booking records
- Amazon S3: Stores static hotel information documents (PDF format)
- DynamoDB:
- Room Inventory Table: Tracks available rooms and their attributes
- Booking Table: Maintains reservation records
