CutClip

A simple macOS app for cut viral clips from YouTube videos on your Mac.

What it does

• Download YouTube videos and create clips with custom start/end times
• Choose video quality: 720p, 1080p, 1440p, or 4K
• Select aspect ratio: Original, 9:16 (vertical), 1:1 (square)
• Preview videos before downloading (title, duration, thumbnail)
• Save clips directly to your Downloads folder

Requirements

• macOS 14.6 or later
• Internet connection

Getting started

1. Download and install CutClip.dmg
2. Launch the app and accept the disclaimer
3. Wait for automatic setup (~2 minutes depending on your internet speed)
4. Start with 5 free clips or enter a license key

How to use

1. Paste a YouTube URL
2. Choose quality and aspect ratio
3. Set start and end times (format: HH:MM:SS)
4. Click "Create Clip"
5. Find your clip in Downloads folder

License

• Pro: Unlimited clips with license key

All video processing happens locally on your Mac for privacy.
