Hi there, I'm looking forward to how I could use this tool to make myself a better nix/git workflow.
If you look at go devs' migration article, they recommend tagging your commit so that users don't depend on pseudo-versions.
So, if possible, just
git tag v0.0.0 -m "v0.0.0" git push --tags
