Description

@zeevdr

Description

Coordinated launch across developer channels. Velocity matters more than total — a 48-hour push beats trickle-posting.

Pre-launch checklist

  • README rewrite complete (hero screenshot, schema flow, comparison table)
  • Terminal GIF recorded
  • Blog posts published
  • awesome-go/awesome-selfhosted PRs submitted

Launch sequence

Day 1 (Tuesday, US Pacific morning):

  • 6 AM PT: Show HN post ("Show HN: OpenDecree — open-source schema-first configuration governance")
  • 7 AM PT: r/selfhosted ("I built a self-hosted config governance server")
  • 8 AM PT: r/golang ("I built a schema-first configuration server in Go")
  • 9 AM PT: Twitter/X launch thread
  • All day: respond to every comment

Day 2:

  • r/devops, r/programming
  • Cross-post discussion highlights on Twitter
