Describe the bug
- Purge Filament fails to pick up Tool 1
Select Purge Filament.
Tool 1 is selected and heats while still docked.
Printer never physically picks up Tool 1.
It then extrudes/purges filament while Tool 1 is still sitting in Dock 1.
This creates a large blob of molten filament at the dock.
We reproduced this twice, including after a complete power-off/restart.
- Leveling/calibration also fails to pick up Tool 1
Started leveling/calibration directly from the printer's controller.
Tool 1 remained in its dock.
The printer attempted to proceed without picking up the toolhead.
This establishes that the problem is not Prusa Connect or PrusaSlicer.
Tool-selection behavior in Purge changed
Previously, Purge Filament allowed you to select the desired tool.
With the current behavior, it did not present the normal Tool 1/Tool 2 selection before beginning the operation.
Hotend remained targeted at 170°C after the failed purge
After canceling/backing out of the abnormal purge operation, Tool 1 remained at a 170°C target rather than shutting the heater off.
A complete power cycle was required.
How to reproduce
reproduce = ask for purge
reproduce = send another job - it doesn't pick up the tool head
Expected behavior
missing step is getting the tool head
