## Why does overload() ignore mouse click / scroll events?

keyd ignores non-keyboard devices by default, so it does not see the mouse
button events. To avoid firing the tap action after a mouse event, either
list your mouse id explicitly in the `[ids]` section, or add
`overload_tap_timeout = 200` in the `[global]` section.

_Mouse support is experimental_ (`man keyd`). You may need to configure mouse
settings such as sensitivity on
[_keyd's virtual pointer_](https://github.com/rvaiya/keyd/issues/191#issuecomment-1149227122)
after enabling keyd mouse support.

## What about xmodmap/setxkbmap/*?

xmodmap and friends are display server level tools with limited functionality.
