Edit() display issues using tulip.tfb_font(2)

When the tfb_font is set to 2, The edit() editor does not show the bottom status line.
Also newlines are displayed as a musical note symbol.

I do see the lack of a status bar, i'll try to fix that asap
but i don't see the newline issue? Can you take a screenshot/pic ?
