The extension adds paws-public links to the jupyterlab context-menu and a widget to notebooks at the end of the toolbar.

After this I think we can set jupyterlab as the default frontend for PAWS.

Should this be visible in minikube? I'm not seeing a similar "public link" bit next to the kernel.

We have two main interfaces for Jupyter Notebooks installed in the singleuser image. One is the Classic Notebook server we default to, the other is jupyterlab. To use Jupyterlab, currently, we need url-hack from http://hub.paws.local/user/Chicocvenancio/tree to http://hub.paws.local/user/Chicocvenancio/lab

The classic notebook interface has been stopped for the last two years since jupyterlab has been released see jupyter/notebook@95ea800

A recent decision is to merge jupyterlab back to notebook v7 (details jupyter/notebook#6210 (comment) ).

A blocker for us to move to jupyterlab was the paws-public link not existing in it. This fixes that.
