Fix news cards and refresh thumbnails

Summary

• fix the Reforged 3.0 news card link by using an explicit local release timezone and excluding future-dated posts from card lists
• add a build check that rejects links to news pages Jekyll did not emit
• add spacing between Latest Updates and Why choose WurstScript
• replace the three highlighted news thumbnails with unique artwork, including the final Reforged 3.0 and Wurst support graphic
• remove the two superseded, unused thumbnails

Acceptance criteria

• the Reforged 3.0 card links to a generated article page
• the release date displays as September 13, 2026
• all three highlighted cards use their intended unique thumbnails
• the Why choose WurstScript section has visible separation from the cards
• no en dash or em dash characters appear in site source
