I'm Yannis and I'm originally from Athens, Greece 🇬🇷. Currently, I'm a Senior Software Engineer at Trovata on the Platform Engineering team. In the past, I've enjoyed working in a variety of similar roles including Data Engineering and Data Science for various industries including oil & gas, finance, and retail. I get excited about building systems that scale and solving hard technical problems. My interests span programming languages, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, databases, and developer tooling. I thrive in startup environments at the intersection of great engineering and business impact where I can take full ownership of projects spanning product idea, architecture, implementation, and deployment.
