CCPP Framework Meeting Minutes 2019 10 03

• feature/capgen now exists on NCAR/ccpp-framework

• There is a capgen label which should be added to all issues and PRs (e.g., bugs, enhancement requests, bug fixes) which involve ccpp_capgen.py

• Julie will start writing tests in her fork. These tasks include

  • A test framework which will can be run on a laptop or through a CI tool
  • System tests beginning with test/capgen_test
  • Python doctests, some of which already exist in the capgen code
  • Unit tests for quick tests of suites which should work and suites which should generate an error

• Updates will be done through pull requests.

• We should look into using travis or GitHub apps to perform CI on the feature/capgen branch.
